ROA West Country Fowey meet - Saturday 16th October 2004

Here are the details for our West Country end-of-season meet. Once again, I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible.

Dinner will be at the Royal Fowey YC on the Saturday evening, at 1900 for 1930. The menu is attached; please let me have your numbers and menu choices as soon as possible and certainly no later than one week beforehand. The RFYC would prefer two weeks' notice, if at all possible. The cost will be £18.25 each; sadly, the Association no longer has funds to subsidise the event.

I am contacting the harbourmaster and will advise berthing arrangements later. I assume we will be allocated space on one of the pontoons, in either Pont Pill, just above Polruan, or further upriver in Mixtow Pill.

As usual, please let me know if you will be sailing or coming by road. If you would like to hitch a ride on another Rival, I shall try to arrange it. If you are driving, I am sure berths can be arranged for the night, as an alternative to finding a B&B.
