 ROA Spring 2003 Folly Meet

Once again the weather threatened to blow us off the Folly pontoons or at least rain on us. However the Gods smiled on us and the rain stopped an hour before the food was due the be served. This year we had 12 boats brave the high winds in the Solent to bring 36 souls to the meet. Everyone had a good time chatting and looking at new ideas on other Rivals. In fact there was so much visiting going on it was hard to keep track of people until they needed a drinks refill! The evening was rounded off with hot mulled wine with fruit cake and cheese. Thank you all for turning out despite some football game taking place in Cardiff!!!

Don't forget to book into the end of season dinner to be held in October, hopefully at the Landers Restaurant near Haslar marina Gosport.
